Durante un debate especial en el Parlamento holandés, el legislador de extrema derecha Geert Wilders acusó a tres ministros de haber mentido, y presentó una moción de censura contra el Gabinete. El Parlamento dejó de lado otros asuntos, y debatió la película del populista Wilders.

En una discusión que se prolongó hasta entrada la noche, y durante la cual Wilders, no recibió apoyo de ninguna otra formación, el líder del Partido por la Libertad estuvo a la defensiva y, con frecuencia, quedó atrapado en su propia falta de consistencia. Mientras que defiende el derecho fundamental a la libre expresión, propone limitar este derecho a los islamitas mediante una prohibición del Corán. Y si bien alega oponerse a la ideología islamita mas no a los musulmanes, se muestra partidario de medidas que repercuten exclusivamente en ellos, como una suspensión total de inmigración de personas provenientes de países musulmanes y la clausura de sus colegios, entre otras.
Además, el político de extrema derecha reprochó al Gobierno haber exagerado en su reacción a la película. Mas, fue él mismo quien alertó al Gabinete sobre el contenido de su film. Y pese a que defiende el dominio del derecho, se niega a recurrir a procedimientos legales para lograr la prohibición de un libro que, a su juicio, fomenta el odio.
Momento vergonzoso
Geert Wilders se esforzó por defender su motivación para la realización de su película, pero en un momento particularmente vergonzoso para el legislador populista, el ministro de Justicia, Ernst Hirsch Ballin, exhibió apuntes de reuniones celebradas en los pasados octubre y noviembre, es decir, antes de que se divulgara la noticia sobre la producción de la película. Durante tales encuentros, Wilders puso al ministro, al coordinador del programa nacional anti-terrorismo y a otros dos altos funcionarios gubernamentales, al tanto de sus planes, incluida una escena en la que rasgaría y quemaría páginas del Corán. Posteriormente, basándose en la información obtenida durante estas reuniones, el Gobierno tomó medidas de precaución por temor a las posibles reacciones a la película.
No obstante, durante el debate del martes, Geert Wilders negó reiteradamente haber informado al Gabinete en detalle sobre sus planes, y acusó de engaño al ministro de Justicia. Además, a su juicio, el jefe del Gobierno holandés, Jan Peter Balkenende, sólo contribuyó a agravar la conmoción al hacer referencia a una crisis. Por último, el legislador ultraderechista presentó una moción de censura contra todo el Gabinete.
Tirantez
En un debate tenso y bastante acalorado, los líderes de todos los demás partidos con representación en el Parlamento interrogaron a Wilders acerca de sus motivos para realizar su película y los objetivos que persigue con ella. Algunos legisladores se refirieron al tema de la integración del casi millón de musulmanes que residen en Holanda, y sobre la tirantez reinante entre, por una parte, los inmigrantes y sus descendientes, y la población autóctona holandesa, por la otra.
Excusas
El Primer ministro holandés considera que Geert Wilders debe presentar disculpas a gente de bien, a los creyentes musulmanes que respetan completamente el orden jurídico, conviven pacíficamente en el país, y han reaccionado con calma ante la película.
En su respuesta, el líder del Partido por la Libertad manifestó con énfasis que nunca presentaría disculpas al Gobierno. Así mismo, aclaró que con su película se proponía conducir el debate nacional sobre el Islam y que, con tal fin, está organizando una serie de encuentros en diferentes ciudades del país. Pero, a juzgar por el debate en el Legislativo, al político de extrema derecha le aguardan épocas agitadas en los próximos meses.

Acabo de ver la pelicula. Mala, aburrida (fome decimos en Chile), un burdo pastiche de estudiantes de básica. Paranoide.
Sin embargo, no por ello menos falsa, pues lo que intentna denunciar (de modo torpe y alevoso) es ya una realidad para la UE.
Con todo expresiones como las del fascista Geert Wilders o las del otro día de la cristianodemocrata ministra de Ayuda al Desarrollo, Agnes van Ardenne con su muy torpe comentario sobre la crisis de las viñetas de Mahoma y su ataque a los seculares "radicales", como si estos últimos tuiveran la culpa por expresarse.
En general, Fitna y todo lo que lo rodea es "Cero Aporte". Espero que nadie lo tome muy en serio... no lo merece.
